i'll do bad.. my grandmother is becoming more and more strict as i turn closer to 18, which is in 3 months.
i ask for the most simplest thing and it's like "let me think about it" i don't wanna seem as a complainer to you guys but i just want to be normal.

Btw, Penguins of Madagascar is hardly an insult. I kinda like those guys. But yeah, I don’t know that I’ve resorted to personal name calling on this (particular) thread. Words like Lib-tard, idiot, dolt, dumbfuck, Trumptard, RINO, left-wing nut job, right-wing nut job...I’ve tried to leave out of the dialogue. But hey, if catch me on it, call me out, and I’ll clean it up. I HAVE used the term Alt-right, and fascist, but not against anyone personally here, on the thread.

Good, Then we can agree that limited immigration from certain countries based on low IQ points. Or saying that immigrants from these countries are bound to fail, as Molyneux argues, is just pure hogwash.
Maybe we can agree that the gang-bangers in the ‘rough’ parts of Detroit, Los Angeles, could do much better in the right environment. Likewise, we should agree that immigrants from countries like Zimbabwe, or Nigeria, both countries with high grad rates could do quite well, and NOT fail at all, in more developed countries. They might even contribute greatly, as Dr. Benet Omalu did with his research on concussions.
As the poster, Recovey, and others have pointed out, IQ research is full of so much bias as to make the whole concept of measurable intelligence a joke. Sooo...when guys like Molybeux spew forth statements about IQ this, or IQ that, then we should dismiss it outright, because the foundation is too weak.
So, I probably have you worked up now. Relax. We’re all in this race together. If you REALLY feel strongly about sonething. Go volunteer. If you have certain views on politics, or whatever, then start a YouChannel.
I’m out. You guys can keep back-slappin,’ and high fiving each other like the penguins of Madagascar. I’ve gotta go preflight a big assed Boeing. Cheers.

Yes, I’ve agreed on earlier posts that there are cultural differences, that we are born into, that can create differences. These differences might include access to education, health habits, parenting styles...any number of things. I’ve never said otherwise.
Key word: cultural.

I am surprised that no one has pointed out how most IQ tests have built in bias . This is unintentional and is hard to negate. The tests often test not intellectual potential ,but what has already been learned.
Good point. I wonder if that kind of bias could’ve been a factor in Dr. JP Ruston’s claims of race & IQ.

What do you think this means? Does it mean that all people are identical? That all people can achieve the same things?What do I think it means??? There’s no “think” about it. It’s crystal clear. Here’s the entire passage by Jefferson:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
It says NOTHING about people being identical. It’s not about entitlement, but rather getting a fair shot at the American dream if you’re willing to work hard and play by the rules. Don’t make excuses, just man-up and work hard. All men should have THAT opportunity. The opportunity to make something of themselves. NOT the opportunity to be HAPPY, rather the opportunity to PURSUE happiness. All men stand on equal footing in pursuit of that goal.
Take my grandfather for example. He came home from WW2 minus his right leg. Thanks to the GI Bill, he was able to attend college and eventually open his own business. Of course he wasn’t “identical” to his classmates, but he was given the chance to compete and the OPPORTUNITY to succeed in life as a man on equal footing to any other man. And succeed he did.
You ask me whether I think “all people can achieve the same things?” I don’t where you came up with that, though it should be pretty obvious from the words of Jefferson, and from my late grandfather’s story, that all mean should have the opportunity to prove themselves and PURSUE their goals. Whether they actually REACH those goals, is ultimately up to them.

He’s the guy who’s research methods were shot down by Orphancow’s article.
Beyond that, you give a lot of opinions: “I feel like,” or “I think that.” That’s fine, to have opinions, I have mine too. But, when it comes to studies, do you have anything outside of Rushton’s work to go on?

In other words, it’s nuture and not nature.
Sooo, we can therefore agree that statements spewed forth by Alt-right spokesman, Stefan Molyneux, like this one, are just as bogus as Rushton’s claims?:
